VIDEO: THE EUROVISION FAN MILE

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK – As we’ve mentioned in a previous article, the whole Danish capital city is going to be transformed in order to welcome fans and visitors during the two Eurovision weeks.
Apart from Eurovision island, the city centre itself will be turned into a major Eurovision landmark. Today the Copenhagen Tourism and Convention bureau « Wonderful Copenhagen » has published a video, allowing viewers to virtually wander in this Eurovision city.
The core of this area is going to be the Eurovision Fan Mile, a 2.2 km long pedestrian zone, linking Rådhuspladsen (City Hall Square), Gammeltotv / Nytorv (Ancient and New Squares) where the Eurovision Village will stand, and famous Nyhavn district where ferries will take visitors to Refshaleøen (Eurovision island).
It’s been promised that there’s going to be many events and concerts staged along this Eurovision Fan Mile. No need to mention that Danes in general and Københavner in particular are looking forward to welcoming us, since a giant countdown clock was recently erected of Rådhuspladsen.
