VIDEO / HE CAN DO IT AGAIN!
OLIVIER: 2 IN A ROW?
Here is an artist who has his entire nation behind him. You cannot walk in Copenhagen without seeing a picture of him, or reading the lyrics of his song on public buildings. That’s amazing. As far as the performance is concerned, Denmark is following the Swedish recipe: no major change since Dansk melodi Grand prix Performance. I really like that song. It is fresh and catchy. One thing is certain, according to camera shots of the audience, the Danes really consider the arena to be part of the performance and make it sparkle just like in Odense. I just loved the Danish flag on stage back then, but not that’s been replaced by a giant portrait of Basim with the word “LOVE” I’m not so sure about it. Anyway, the boy is perfectly doing the job and this is one of the act I’m really looking forward to see live on stage on Saturday since it’s going to be pure madness in B&W Hallerne!
FOTIS: DA DA DA DA DUH DA DA CHARGE IT!
Impressive opening for the song and I love the banner used on stage. Basim has not the best song but he has the song that can really brainwash your head during the performance. This is after all how Denmark always goes in the top five in #Eurovision. I won’t be surprised at all if we see Denmark winning again. The draw 23 for this one might easily help them get the trophy on Saturday night. Well done Basim and trust me this is not a cliche love song at all.
