OSLO, NORWAY – Kirkens Nødhjelp (Norwegian Church Aid) made a wonderful initiative for the refugee crisis. They invited several Eurovision stars to sing a song titled “Når båten sealer inn” (When the boat sinks) to honour the loss of those who died in their recent attempts to cross the Aegean or Libyan sea, so they can reach a better life in Europe.
Revenues from the song will be given for the support of the refugees through Kirkens Nødhjelp which supports the refugees in the mediterranean region.
The song is performed by various famous Norwegian singers including the Eurostars: Didrik Solli Tangen (Norway 2010) Elisabeth Andreassen (Sweden 1982, Norway 1985, 1994, 1996), Hanne Krogh (Norway 1971, 1985, 1991), Alexander Rybak (Norway 2009), Maria Kaukaas Mitter (Norway 2008), Carola (Sweden 1983, 1991, 2006)
