Video: Conchita performs at Espoo Waterpark
ESPOO, FINLAND – Until Eurovision 2015, let’s bet that Conchita Wurst will have set her heels on every single European nation (with the exclusion of Russia though…). Since her victory last May, there’s hardly a single Gay Pride celebration or music festival that hadn’t been attended by our favorite bearded diva.
Yesterday, the Austrian phenomenon went north, to beautiful Finland for the Serena & Pop Festival at the Espoo Waterpark. This two-day-long celebration gathers Finland’s biggest stars of the Pop scene, and this year, the special guest was this year’s Eurovision winner.
The lady performed for 50 minutes in front of an enthusiastic crowd, a bunch of tracks: Tina Turner’s “The Best”, Anna Vissi’s “Everything”, Joe Cocker’s “Unchain My Heart” and her very own “That’s What I Am” and of course “Rise Like A Phoenix” of course.
Next stop Italy for Padova’s pride tomorrow!
