GREECE – The 1980 Eurovision introduction person for Greece and 1985, 1987 spoke-person, Kelly Sakakou died last week. The popular TV persona and ERT hostess lost her husband last summer.

GREECE – Back to Greece as Yiorgos Kapoutzides revealed his intentions regarding commentating the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest. He said that he will do it again if and only if his colleague Maria Kozakou do it with him. This will be the 5th commentating for Kapoutzides and the 7th for Kozakou.
SERBIA – Mia Pijade explained through the social media that the speculations we all did that Vladimir Graić and Danica Krstić will not be the composer and the singer (respectively) for Serbia in the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest.
LITHUANIA – Who’s Edgaras Lubys, winner of the first Eurovizijos 2017 Heat in Lithuania? Amberlife (born Edgaras Lubys on 17 August 1983 in Klaipėda) is a popular Lithuanian musician and songwriter. He had successfully collaborated with well-known Lithuanian producer company Cactus and it made Amberlife’s international career realistic. He had released three albums and had become known in Latvia, Russia and Scandinavia. A limited edition CD In Your Eyes (3000 copies) was released in January 2004 featuring all the songs from Amberlife’s debut album plus four versions of In Your Eyes. A video for In Your Eyes was filmed in Stockholm. During his stay in Stockholm Amberlife was photographed by photographer Bingo Rimer, who has worked with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith, Backstreet Boys and others. Amberlife participated in the 2004 national selection for the Eurovision song contest. In Your Eyes placed 4th in the final. In 2005, he won the Song of the Year award from Radiocentras Awards for My Lover’s Gone with Latvian singer Ladybird. Amberlife with song Material World placed 12th in the 2010 national selection for the Eurovision. He competed in the 2015 national selection as well but placed fourth.
