Morten Kaiser from Denmark
“Slow Down”, The Netherlands. I thought we already had the slow, guitar-playing singer on stage in 2014! Douwe Bob sings well and history tells us that these songs could do well in the contest. But first, he has to get through to the Grand Final and he might will. But I really hope we won’t see the black and white performance with a road on the floor. Find something new to do to make it a nice performance on stage and this could do well – maybe the juries will help it through? We’ll see in May!
Fotis Konstantopoulos from Greece
A good looking singer with an interesting colour of voice. The song is quite different that everything else that we have on the first semi final and I personally think it will qualify.
Jaime Solloso from Spain
Never really surprising us, Douwe presents a nice little number that plays well and is well performed but it lacks any actual energy and is a throwback to the quiet early 90s. Again, a song which will do well once the contest is over as I can see it making the airwaves with ease but not a song which I see alighting Stockholm with glee. Good use of guitar and vocals and the sound is very positive but the country vibe has never really done well at Eurovision, at Junior level this would be far better received than I feel it will be at the main event.
