It was back in 2004 when France first participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest edition but they withdraw saying that it was to much of Eurovision for them. Back then, Thomas Pontier and his “Si On Voulait Bien” finished in sixth in their only participation.
It’s unknown yet how the French will decide their entrant for Minsk, yet.
The 20188 JESC edition will take place in Minsk on November 25th and everyone is trying to fix the image of the contest as the TV rates keep falling every year drastically. We at www.oikotimes.com are not sure whether we will cover again the event as www skipped the 2017 edition due to poor visits and interprets from our web audience.
