KOSOVO 🇽🇰 It seems that the EBU president, Jean-Paul-Philippot have meet with Mentor Shala, RTK’s Director General to discuss the completion of full membership in the European Broadcasting Union.
This will allow them to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest something which haven’t been achieved yet because (as EBU says) the country is not recognised by the United Nations yet.
Speaking to RTK, Mr Shala said that: We had a meeting with EBU President Jean-Paul Philippot in which we discussed the General Assembly held at the end of this month, as well as the possibility of RTK becoming a fully fledged member of the EBU, thus ensuring participation in the European Eurovision Song Contest next year.
Weirdly Kosovo cannot take part in the senior Eurovision Song Contest but in 2011 they participated in the Eurovision Young Dancers contest.
