Spain 2018 🇪🇸 whats wrong with people? stage director Tinet Rubira also attacks Israeli entry
ON THE SPOT: LIVE FROM LISBON
SPAIN – Does it feels weird now that Netta looses odd outright to win Eurovision that Salvador Sobral and today, Spains’ stage director Tinet Rubira, attack the Israeli entry? Are they simply showing their empathy or are they trying to boost the Israeli entry by creating more sympathy for Israel? The Spanish drama by stage director Tinet Rubira kicked off during an intteriveew with RAC1.
In a time that the participation of Amaia and Alfred receive huge criticism in Spain, stage director Tinet Rubira seems to agree with Sobral’s latest statements on Netta’s song.
“Fifteen days have passed until someone said it out loud. You see Israel’s song and is a chubby lady, with two buns on her head and doing the chicken – even quite much. The first day it warmed many Eurofans and they’ve assigned her the diva and winner status.”
Regarding France he says he is not connected to the song. Regarding Cyprus he seems to kinda like it saying that Eleni is this year’s Beyoncé.
He also lashes the Eurofan comments against the stage presentation of Spain. It is no secret that Spanish Eurofans strongly believe that RTVE doesn’t want to win the Eurovision Song Contest, Tinet responds by saying: “I accept all criticism and I don’t answer if I’m criticised. Obviously, if someone mentions me it is because they want me to answer them, and I always do it with education. I have the responsibility to set common sense and an example. On Twitter I don’t bother.”
Spanish fans demand better staging performances and comment (negatively) the lights, the fireworks and the camera work. It is a usual reactions though by the Spanish fans who react negatively or positively to every single camera shot every year and somehow they consider themselves extremely experts on what is happening on stage during their country’s rehearsal.
With the final costumes revelation the fans were not satisfied once again and guess what some of them truly believe Spain can win Eurovision 2018!
