SKOPJE, FORMER YUGOSLAV REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA – On this day, six years ago, a very talented singer left this world. His name was Todor Tose Proeski. He died in a car crash in Croatia. Many of you remember Tose from 2004, when he represented FYR Macedonia at Eurovision song contest.
His popularity wasn’t only in his home country. People from all six ex-Yugoslav were his fans. But not just there, he was popular all around Europe and was loved and cherished by many others. He was also a big humanitarian, which is why he was posthumously declared as honorary citizen of FYR Macedonia.
In his home town, Krushevo, a museum is opened. There a lot of his things and musical sheets are exposed. Since it was opened over half million people have visited it. In the end we can just say that we will always remember you. Rest in peace Tose!
