BELGRADE, SERBIA – What regional press Telegraf published yesterday is now officially confirmed. Sanja Vučić will the the 2016 Serbian entrant in the Eurovision Song Contest.
The song will be titled “Shelter” according to the newspaper but RTS has made no comment on it. It will be in English and will be presented later on (March 12th at 21:00).
Sanja is studying Arabic language and literature at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade, and speaks English, Italian, Spanish and Arabic and is 22 years old.
The song is penned by Ivana Peters, one of the first choices of RTS to represent the country in Eurovision, who got known locally through Your Face Sounds Familiar.
Sanja was lead singer for band ZAA with dozens of concerts around the area of former Yugoslavia.
