RUTH LORENZO HAPPY WITH EUROVISION 2014
MADRID, SPAIN – On her return to Spain, Ruth Lorenzo has expressed her happiness at obtaining a Top Ten position and how she would like to return in three years time.
TVE has a following of 6.560.000 viewers for Eurovision, better numbers than last year and the song was well received by fans and critics alike. Ruth went on to state that the objective was “to achieve the recognition of Eurovision as an art and this has been achieved, the aim now is to do even better next year”.
She did not want to comment on the lack of Portuguese votes but did joke that the UK should have given her more votes and that she would be talking to them shortly. Regarding the Eurovision winner, Ruth credited her friendship and sais that “people need to know that in this part of Europe we are free, have freedom of expression and everyone is free to love who they want”.
She will now embark on the recording of her new album; “Blue Planet”, that will be recorded originally in Los Angeles and will contain a mix of Spanish and English language songs.
