LISBON – The “wildest” Eurovision’s winner Ruslana will hit the Eurovillage stage on Praça do Comércio in Lisbon on the night of the Grand Final.
On May 12th, 6:00 pm local time on the legendary Commerce Square in the heart of Portugal Ruslana will present her new live show with exotic instruments, live rock set, exclusive premieres and surprising features. This show is not only a music performance for Ukraine’s first Eurovision winner but her message to the international community.
“As one of the biggest music shows worldwide Eurovision has tremendous influence. And I think it’s time for Eurovision to unite us not only through music but also to join our efforts to go green. Renewable energy is the clean energy of nature’s elements, the healing energy for the planet and the humanity, the peace energy. Now, when I am not competing but take part as a guest, I’d like to invite fans around the world to fight for clean energy,” – Ruslana says.
Ruslana has become Ukraine’s best-selling artist, winning country’s first official Platinum Disc even prior to her Eurovision victory. After the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest she supported international social initiatives and democratic processes in her country, gaining a series of other international achievements as an artist and social activist. World Music Awards, Ukraine’s Good Will Ambassador for UNICEF, and her place in “Forbes 10 most influential women from Ukraine” to name the few.
