Romania turns down Malta but keeps an open door
BUCHAREST, ROMANIA – Romanian national broadcaster announced that they are not entering after all the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest edition but they keep an open door for 2015.
TVR says there is no public interest for participating this year in Malta but they are hoping they could return to the contest in 2015. The public is extremely disappointed from the 2009 result of Romania in the contest therefore there is no high hopes to see Romania becoming the 15th participant in the contest.
14 nations are confirmed for participating in Malta’s JESC edition.
