RESULTS: SWEDEN (SEMI 4) LITHUANIA (HEAT 10)
Tonight two more preselection shows took place in Europe: Lithuania presented the 10th heat of Eurovizijos and the country got a step closer to the national final decision and in Sweden we concluded the semifinals with one more grand show for Melodifestivalen. Here are the results from both shows.
The fourth semifinal of Melodifestivalen concluded moments ago with no surprises this time. Anton Ewald – “Natural” and Alcazar – “Blame It on the Disco” have gone direct to the final, while Ammotrack – “Raise Your Hands”, and Ellinore Holmer – “En himmelsk sång” will compete in the Andra Chansen. We have to admit that Anton Ewald was not in the best of his performance tonight while Alcazar proven to be the schlager participants of this year’s Melodifestivalen. We love Alcazar and we want them in Copenhagen.
Due to the events in Kiev, Ukraine, LRT has decided to cancel tonight’s Eurovision show and informed that it will be broadcast on Sunday, February 23rd. The show has been pre-recorded earlier this week. In this semi-final, the remaining three artists are competing and the song, which will eventually be representing Lithuania will be chosen. The artist will be chosen separately on March 1st. (source: escwebs.net)
