Polish singer Michał Szpak, who has expressed his desire to represent Poland at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, has released two new songs and is asking for the public to choose his potential entry.

Szpak has released a rock-ballad entitled “Such is Life” and the more up-tempo “Color of Your Life”. The long-haired performer now has to convince broadcaster TVP to send him to Stockholm.

The Polish broadcaster has said it will internally choose the country’s representative for next year’s contest.

Two popular Polish singers, Sylwia Grzeszczak and Margaret, have ruled out their participation. TVP is expected to announce Poland’s representative in February.

Poland was represented by Monika Kuszynska in Vienna this year with the song “In the Name of Love”. While achieving 8th place in the semi final, Monica achieved a disappointing 23rd placing in the final.
