Paula Seling’s tribute song for Bucharest night club victims
The 2010 Romanian Eurovision representative, Paula Seling, has released an emotional song dedicated to the victims of a Bucharest nightclub fire late last Friday, in which 29 people lost their life.
Seling’s song, entitled “Randul lucrurilor ”(Order of Things), pays tribute to the victims. The singer debuted the song on Romanian television this morning in an effort to raise funds for the families of the victims.
Other Romanian eurostars, including Voltaj and Marcel Pavel, who represented the country in 2012, joined forces during a national fundraising telethon over the weekend.
ABOUT THE BUCHAREST FIRE
27 people have died and 184 have been injured in a fire at a packed nightclub. The tragedy at a night club in the Romanian capital of Bucharest happened during a rock night that featured fireworks. As many as 400 people – mostly young adults – were attending the concert, and stampeded to the only available exit in the basement venue as it filled with smoke.

Paula Seling represented Romania in Oslo in 2010 together with Ovi with the song “Playing with fire”. It came 3rd in the final, matching the country’s best placing in the contest. Seling and Ovi performed “Miracle” live in the second Eurovision Song Contest 2014 semi-final, in Copenhagen, on 8 May 2014. They qualified from the semi-final and competed in final on 10 May 2010, where they finished on #12.
