Ovi Jacobsen: I lost lots of money due to new rules!
BUCHAREST, ROMANIA – Local newspaper Libertatea in their website reported the reactions of Ovi over the outcome of Eurovision 2014 and the new ruling of EBU to sell the entries as singles besides in the official album.
The new agreement for the 2010 and 2014 Romanian participant was not profitable and “Miracle” didn’t have the same profit as he expected losing significant amount of money. The song did much better than his 2010 entry “Playing with Fire” but he received only 20% of the sales.
Romania is one of the four countries protesting about the new ruling alongside Finland, Sweden and Norway.
