Olia Tira is back and might bid for Vienna
CHISINAU, MOLDOVA – Back in 2010, Moldova was represented by Olia Tita and SunStroke Project. Last year, for the national selection O Melodie Pentru Europa, the lady introduced her new project, called Flux Light, and finished in a disappointing 6th place.
But the Flux Light duo (Olia Tira and Alexandre Noctua) are back on tracks with a brand new single. “Nu-Mi Lua Dragostea” (Do not take my love away) is a modern electronic track that would not sound odd in the forthcoming “O Melodie Pentru Europa” line-up this year.
Anyway, Olia is actually planning a new participation to the national selection show this year, but it will be with a different song. Entries to O Melodie Pentru Europa 2015 can be submitted until mid-December. Wait and see then…
DID YOU KNOW?
German-born Olia Tira is one of the most famous artists in Moldova. She’s well known for her Eurovision 2010 participation in Oslo, but let us not forget she’s a national final veteran. Indeed, Olia took part to the Moldovan national selection, no less than 5 times: 2006 (8th), 2007 (3rd), 2009 (4th), 2010 (1st) and 2014 (6th). Will 2015 be Olia’s year again?
