OIKOTIMES ON THE SPOT / MGP 2013: FORMER WINNERS SHOWING UP IN OSLO
Just on the day before the big finale of MGP 2013, Oslo was visited by many former winners of MGP and also three winners of the Eurovision. Loreen, Alexander Rybak, Elisabeth Andreassen, (Bobbysocks 1985), Didrik Solli-Tangen and Tooji where all possible to spot around Oslo, in a matter of few hours.
First of all Alexander Ryback, Toji and Didrik Solli Tangen showed up at the venue Spektrum yesterday (Friday). Alexander Ryback was there in order to support Annsofi. She is as you know competing with Rybacks song “I’m with you”. Didrik is there to support his brother Emil that competes together with Gromth. Unfortunately, Didrik will be doing a gig in Göteborg, Sweden at the same time as the final – so he will not be able to attend the final, a fact that he is very unsatisfied with he told Oikotimes.
− That was of course a very difficult choice, I should have been with my brother instead, but this is how things are in showbizz, Didrik says.
Loreen and Tooji are the only ones that actually will be performing during the final of MGP. Loreen as she is the winner of the Eurovision and will give the audience a great performance during the final with Euphoria and her song “Crying Out Your Name”. Tooji will be performing with his winning song in last years MGP and will also handle over the winner’s trophy. Yesterday, no one wanted to comment anything to media.
Norway is as you now a “schlager-country” and what better way to spend an evening in Oslo than with a schlager-concert? Elisabeth Andreassen, Alexander Ryback and Didrik Solli Tangen, concluded their concert tour called Bettan, Alexander and Didrik. A tour that started already last summer and has been around all Norway and now come to an end at Oslo Concerthouse, right the day before the great final of the MGP.
Oikotimes was of course there and can see them perform all of the great songs that Eurovisionfans around the world would love to hear! A great night to end our great tour, they told Oikotimes. It was a great concert and a perfect build up, the night before the final of MGP!
