OIKOTIMES ON THE SPOT / BEOSONG 2013: MOJA 3 – LJUBAV JE SVUDA
One more exciting night in Belgrade and oikotimes.com team is on the spot to bring you the latest information from the show. Tonight Serbia decides for Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with Luka Popovic and Stefan Resimić attending the final night of Beosong 2013. You can follow the show with us through a live stream here.
Welcome guys! Welcome readers of Oikotimes.com! We’re now here to comment and present the Serbian national final for Malmö, Beosong 2o13! Euphoria is being performed on stage by a great dance company with nice lighning effects, as well! It seems they’re showing the suitcase, which the Serbian delegation will be travelling…so small hahaha!
Now, a clip footage is on screen to show the rehearsals and preparations for this year’s Serbian national final, who was very popular some years ago with Beovizija! Time for a commercial break…
1. Saška Janković – Duga u tvojim očima
Saska is doing a great number with her ballad Duga u Tvojim Ocima. The song could be classical, in the style of ESC ballads. One thing is sure, could do it nice for Serbia. Saska owns a very special and beautiful voice.
2. SKY’S – Magija
The girls are doing a great show, with a song that could work nice at the contest. Pop/dance elements, and good effects at lightning and screens! Not something special and they’re not favourites. Can you see this winning?
3. Dušan Svilar – Spas
Typical balkan song, which we’ve been to listen at ESC a hundred times. Dusan sings quite good, and the performance is very suitable. This is a potential winner and hot favourite to win tonight’s national final, what do you think?
4. Marija Mihajlović – Halo
Maria sings Halo, a jazzy/blues song. At some point of the song, you could be already bored, so probably, it wouldn’t do anything in Malmö. She has a unique voice, but not enough.
5. Moje 3 – Ljubav je svuda
The song , I was looking forward to listening. I love the tune, the melody, and specially their voices. Nice pop/dance song and catchy refrain. Serbia has never send something like this to Eurovision, so is this the first time for them? For sure, at ESC, lots of times is nice to risk and innovate…
The recap is showed for the first time. Marija Serifovic starts performing a piano version of Molitva. Her voice and the lyrics are completely brilliant. Apart from the piano, some violins are introduced, as well. 7 minutes left to close the voting time. Recap again. Then, a orchestra with trumpets performs the 2004 and 2008 Serbian entries. Quite strange they’re not doing 2005 or 2006 (we all know what happened, but those songs are part of the ESC history…) Nina’s song is on stage as well, i loved that song !
Time for a medley that includes Viva La Vida by Colplay, with some ballet dancers. Then, a cabaret number with trumpets and a cool voice. It’s Lady Is A Tramp! But we are expecting to know the winner! Oh my god! Beyonce’s Listen sung by a children, I guess, she is the winner of any talent show there in Serbia! A loooooooong interval act is still going on…
Time for the results: Moja 3 wins! Mirna, Nevena and Sara will represent Serbia in Malmö, with Ljubav Je Svuda.
- Spas – Dušan Svilar (2nd place)
- Duga u tvojim očima – Saška Janković (3rd place)
- Halo – Marija Mihajlović (4th place)
