Fotis Konstantopoulos (Greece)
PRESS RELEASE – It’s 14 years already since we first went online with oikotimes – the web page which always meant to bring the ultimate Eurovision information from the side of the fans. Only last year 2,4 million visited our website giving to oikotimes the second best year since 2006.
Since 2011 we celebrate our annual online anniversary with a party to remember night. In 2011 and 2013 it was Athens, in 2012 it was Brussels and in 2014 was host city Copenhagen. In 2015 we again decided to party at the Eurovision host city, Vienna. Therefore we want to invite you all accredited P & F Eurovision lovers to join us at the EUROCLUB on 20/5 at 23:00 after the jury rehearsal for a unique celebration.
We are not going to be alone: After announcing the participation of Azerbaijan, Belarus, France, Greece we are happy to welcome back to Eurovision, Slovakia. The 2011 Eurovision entrants for the country we all miss in the contest, TWiiNS, are going to be in Vienna to honour us with their live performances.
During the party we will make sure the first 50 of you will get random Eurovision goodies specially gathered for you! Don’t miss this one!!!
Sisters Daniela and Veronika were born on 15th May 1986. The girls, who are identical twins, are natural born entertainers. As small children, they literally began to sing before they could speak. They attended the same schools and had a shared dream of becoming an international pop duet. Although their love of music was innate and a passion that couldn’t be easily thrown away, at the completion of secondary school, the girls decided to attend Comenius University of Management. This move would help them manage their prospective music careers and both graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in management. Shortly after completing school in 2000, the pop sensations were scouted by a major Slovakian record label that went on to offer them a recording deal. The TWiiNS formed a joint venture and released four albums for which they were awarded three Golden and one Platinum record.
