November 21: winners press conference
SOFIA, BULGARIA – SOFIA, BULGARIA – As BNT presenter says…well, this is over. Here is the winner’s press conference of the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The three first contestants of the night Destiny (Malta), Mika (Armenia) and Lina (Slovenia) are given their respective trophies and are ready to answer the traditional questions.
Lina
The girl is feeling great and super happy, but she confesses she’s surprised to have achieved a third place. Her secret is practicing and focusing on her emotions. She just wants to live her dream, and tonight she did. When she’s asked if she has realized she is the most successful Slovenian entrant so far (the country has indeed never achieved a bronze medal, nor in Junior neither in Senior), she declares she’s just happy and thankful. Her memory from Bulgaria: the people, the city, the whole experience Her message to children: never change since you’re unique just be yourself.
Mika
He is just super excited with his second place. According to him, the key to success is happiness and confidence. And yes he’s confident since he’s already thinking of representing Armenia at Eurovision. His memory from Bulgaria: the good time he’s had and the people. His message to children: more love is needed
Destiny
The champion is just super happy. For her, it’s a team victory and she even declares “what I am today is because of you”. Since she’s a huge fan of Aretha Franklin, she’s asked to sing her favourite song the diva. No wonder she chooses “Respect”. She won’t drop school to start a career yet, but she’s already thinking about going abroad later to learn arts. Her memory from Bulgaria: amazing people, very supportive. Her message to children: never give up and follow your dream, it will come true.
