November 19: Russia, The Netherlands, Montenegro, Australia second round of rehearsals review
Fotis Konstantopoulos (Greece)
Misha continues rising in my opinion to the potential dark horses. His performance is flawless and his English lyrics will definitely help him. The girl dancing aside him is looking magical within the smoking prop. The Russian entry although as a tune doesn’t say much can pop up in the scoreboard out of nothing. After all it’s Russia and they easily can get high.
It seems that Shalisa and The Netherlands have the most effective on camera stage presentation. It is a nice combination of Shalisa playing the piano wight he candles and the two dancers on the side of the stage to give a modern dance act. Vocally Shalisa is superb and it seems that The Netherlands wouldn’t surprise anyone if high in the scoreboard.
Jana and her friends perform their song again on stage. No vocal problems for Jana she sounds quid confident. The outfits are maybe too much and suitable more for the dance prom of her high school and not for JESC. The dance act seems a bit irrelevant, not that it is bad, but it doesn’t make any sense to us besides seen 4 girls dancing. Judging also from the polls, we are now sure this one has no chance.
The Australian Alicia Keys alike singer and song is the last rehearsing today. It is clear that Bella is not here just to participate and she will definitely fight for the trophy. Besides my comments about her song resemblance, the performance is stunning and absolutely flawless. She projects she is a star already and the viewers, the juries will not ignore that.
