November 12: The best of Malta & JESC 2014 in photos
VALLETTA, MALTA – Through this series of posts I wanna share with you the amazing country Malta is. A place with indescribable beauty a mix of European and oriental sentiment, a unit combination of amazing features and sight seeings. In this post I wanna shout out: The French do it better!
Immediately when I arrived I met on Friday with my Greek friend Mika in St. Julians, Malta. The tornado was ongoing and the roads were literally transformed into rivers but we had to meet as we haven’t seen each other for almost two years. We were heading to her house which is very close to my hotel but she wanted to take something for me to treat me as welcome.
She got me to a small brasserie called “Fre(n)sh” nearby. The small store just opened this week in Malta by two French guys. The two hunks were already so smiley and excited because already the success was huge for them. Their sweets and salty tarts are vanishing the moment they are made. It’s amazing the chaos made in the morning as the entire area goes there to buy a snack for breakfast. They make goodies at least 5 times per day and every time I visited the store since Friday, they are always almost empty.
The two guys are smiling to everyone and they are enjoying their success. The key to their success is the fresh products and the amazing taste. Guys you have done an amazing job and I love buying things from your store (by the way the prices are ridiculously low!)
