November 10: Ukrainian trip visit their support school
TVM.COM.MT REPORTS – The Ukrainian entry for Junior Eurovision, Sympho-Nick, were enthusiastically welcomed by the students and staff of St Theresa’s Secondary School in Mrieћel. The Ukrainian trio got to learn about home economics, which included tasting some traditional Maltese food. That went down well.
Students performed for their guests by playing violin, displaying martial art movements and presenting dance interpretations ranging from classical to contemporary. Marta Rak, Sofiia Kutsenko and Amaliia Kryms’ka together hit the stage singing two songs including Spring Will Come, the song they will perform in the final on Saturday. The trio sang in superb harmony. The trio then handed out post cards to the students in the hall.
Ameliia Kryms’ka – “We were met here warmly…I really liked the stage, lighting and the whole experience very much”. Marta Rak – “The organisation is of a very high level, we were met very warmly and we like it here very much”. Sofiia Kutsenko – “We are really enjoying being here in Malta, the stage and lighting are great. We really loved our rehearsals yesterday.”
