Norway 2018 🇳🇴 second rehearsal: now that’s how you write a Eurovision winner entry?
Fotis Konstantopoulos (Greece)
NORWAY – Rybak seems to have realised what you need to win Eurovision again and take the fame of the modern Johnny Logan. He is back with his violin but with something totally different than his 2009 entry. The song is not the best tune of the contest this year but it has the disco element and the underdog brainwash gimmick which can make you vote for it without you actually realise it. Alexander wearing an electric blue jacket, black button up shirt and black trousers, however halfway he removes the jacket and gives a professional performance despite the initial sound problems – after all it’s a rehearsal! I think this entry might surprise us all and if you close your eyes you can easily see it closing thee show of the Grand Final with the closing tittles scrolling in the end of the show. Somehow he might bring the trophy back to the s0-much-expensive, Norway

NORWAY 🇳🇴 ON THE WEB
ESCKAZ.COM: Betting markets have Alexander Rybak second favourite for the win. To me the package looks more competitive in the context of junior eurovision.
ESCBUBBLE.COM: Vocally, and despite the in ear issues, he is very solid, and I’m thinking this is the song to beat in this Semi Final, despite being drawn 1st.
ESCXTRA.COM: You already know that Alexander Rybak has delivered an extremely competent and composed vocal performance! Nothing unexpected here!
EUROVOIX.COM: He does seem to be struggling in the chorus and relying on the backing singers quite a bit. The lighting does work well for the performance and give a nice relaxing opening.
