Nora Brockstedt passed away in Oslo at the age of 92
OSLO, NORWAY – The first ever Norwegian entrant in Eurovision has left us on November 5th. Nora Brockstedt passed away in Oslo at the age of 92.
In 1960, she waved the Norwegian flag of Eurovision stage for the very first time with the song “Voi Voi”, finishing 4th. One year later, she did it again with “Sommar I Palma “ ending up 7th on the scoreboard.
After all those years, Nora was still a huge fan of Eurovision and Melodi Grand Prix and she was still a “Lady” in the heart of many Norwegian fans and artists.
