Molly to perform at the Glastonbury Festival
GLASTONBURY, UNITED KINGDOM – The United Kingdom’s representative at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, Molly Smitten Downes, will perform at one of the world’s most famous festivals – Glastonbury. She will perform on the BBC’s Introducing Stage. The UK singer has described her participation in the festival as “A dream”.
The Glastonbury Festival runs from the 25 to the 29th of June with over 120.000 tickets already sold. Molly is set to perform at 17.30 on Friday June 27. The singer has previously that said one of her ultimate career goals is to perform at the festival.

Molly Smitten Downes was internally selected to represent the United Kingdom at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest. Molly performed with the song “Children of the Universe” in Copenhagen, managing 17th place, one of the UKs best scored in years.
