MF 2013: EUROFAN EXPERTS COMMENT SEMIFINAL 4
The last of semifinals today in Malmoe, the 2013 Eurovision host city, and SVT once again presents the views and comments on the Eurofan experts on their official website melodifestivalen.se. This week the article is focused more on Army of Lovers as the entire Europe understands that this reunion of the band is by fat the news of the year for Melodifestivalen.
Our chief editor, Fotis Konstantopoulos made his remarks for the 4th semifinal as well: One more hot week for melodifestivalen and oikotimes.com is actually attending the event through Lilian Brunell on behalf of the website. This semifinal includes the all time beloved group Army of Lovers. Although I love them very much I expected a bit stronger entry to celebrate their re-union. I think they are on the edge to qualify this year directly in the final. Lucia on the other hand is good but the song is totally indifferent. The same american-stylish song by Robin seems to be mediocre for me.
Silvia might also have an old fashioned song but somehow it sounds a bit Russian after hours bar song than a suitable for Eurovision entry. Ralf burns his piano and I’m still trying to find out the reason for this. Nice song but still something is missing but I will not be surprised if this one goes to the final. Behrang Miri is going to the final, I am sure as they have very positive energy and if they do then Sean Banan will have a problem as they have similar songs. Terese is great on the other hand. She is a qualifier for me and she is a favourite to win the final for me. She is amazing in the style and performance. Ulrik Munther is very confident and gives a good performance although the song is nothing special.
I don’t know personally anyone of the participants but I would love to take a photo with Army Of Lovers and definitely to get to know this talented new star of Sweden, Terese. If I wanted a night out to get lots of drinks and party time I would choose Behrang Miri. Usually the 4th semifinal has good songs but this one seems the weakest this year. But still you have Army of Lovers and Terese suitable for Eurovision 2013. I will be tuning in on Saturday and definitely will wait for the surprising results of the show!
