BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA 🇧🇦 BHRT will not participate in Eurovision 2019. Leila Babovic says: “Unfortunately, BHRT can not participate in the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest or the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest, since we are under the EBU sanctions, which means that BHRT can not participate until the debts against EBU are resolved. BHRT is currently denied access to all EBU services because of its high levels of debt with the EBU.”

DENMARK 🇩🇰 Danish national broadcaster is happy with the outcome in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest as Rasmussen achieved a respected 9th position in the final. Jan Lagermand Lundme, DR ‘s Entertainment Manager says the broadcaster is gearing up preparations for an even better result next year. It was in 2014 when Denmark had a top ten finish in the grand final of Eurovision.
LITHUANIA 🇱🇹 The high number of streams during the broadcast of Eurovision this year brought difficulties up for LRT. The website couldn’t sustain the traffic. Head of LRT.lt says: “For a long time now, there was no such traffic, the architecture of the portal was not well adapted to such a large number of visitors, but these problems were resolved promptly. During the second half and the finals there were no technical problems, we have achieved all records of all time.” The live streams are how upgraded as World Cup 2018 is kicking off.
BELARUS 🇧🇾 Ola Melzig the Technical Director of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018, traveled to Minsk, to inspect the preparations for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
