AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS – In a special show from Amsterdam the Dutch Eurovision fans celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Eurovision Song Contest.
The show took place at the Amsterdam Ziggo Dome. The show called “Songfestival Singalong 2015” featured Dutch Eurovision stars like Gerard Joling (1988), Sieneke (2010), Edsilia Rombley (1998, 2007), Lenny Kuhr (winner 1969) and Esther Hart (2003) and there were also guests from Eurovision winners like Alexander Rybak (Norway 2009), Emmelie de Forest (Denmark 2013), Brotherhood of Man (United Kingdom 1976) and Johnny Logan (Ireland 1980, 1987).
Thousands of Eurovision lovers joined the party in Amsterdam with the stars on the big stage and on top of the stage a huge screen showed the lyrics of the Eurovision songs so everyone could sing along. You can watch some highlights from the show in the videos below.

The Netherlands have participated in the Eurovision Song Contest since the beginning in 1956. The country have won the contest four times; in 1957, 1959, 1969 and 1975. The last two years The Netherlands have won a ticket to the Grand Final and this year the Dutch fans are hoping for Trijntje Oosterhuis to continue with good results for The Netherlands.
