MADRID, SPAIN – In a recent interview Barei has not yet decided what to wear, although the choice is down to three options. One clear item is footwear, as this has been designed exclusively for her and is to be used for the first time in the final, on Saturday.
She is frustrated with regards to illumination and the stage production, as, although a detailed explanation was sent 2 months ago, this has still not been completed as was expected. Barei hopes that this is fixed before she takes the stage on Saturday but understands that until now all interest has been on the semifinals and that the Big 5 have been somewhat sidestepped.
She hopes that this is all fixed by the final as the song and performance has been well received by the other competitors in Stockholm. Among her favourites, Hungry she feels could be the surprise performer on the night and Armenia is a great song but that the initial parts (with the mouth actions) is something she requested and was not done.
Barei considers that Australia’s singer has a great voice. Regarding the contest, the negative is that everyone has an opinion and there is always a lot of criticism about, the positives, the love and passion shown by everyone in Stockholm and beyond. Barei is looking to do a collaboration with Amir (France) and would love to do another with Finland.
