May 13 / Inför Eurovision: the final results
STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN – The last weeks a preview show called ”Before Eurovision Song Contest” has been aired in Sweden. On Tuesday night the last show was aired on TV with the songs from the second half of the second semi final and Germany. The panel consisting of the Swedish Eurovision stars Sarah Dawn Finer, Christer Björkman, Eric Saade, Tess Merkel and Kristin Amparo has during four shows judged the 40 songs in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest and according to this panel, the winners of the semifinals looks like this:
Qualifiers from the first semifinal: Albania, Estonia, FYR Macedonia, Georgia, Denmark, Russia, The Netherlands, Belgium, Hungary and Moldova.
Qualifiers from the second semifinal: Sweden, Cyprus, Iceland, Israel, Azerbaijan, Slovenia, Montenegro, Ireland, Latvia and Norway.
The panel has been rough with fan favourites like Norway, but it’s not a surprise that they love Måns and the Swedish entry and top favourite “Heroes”. The full top 40 from the Swedish panel is as follows:

Since 1983 the Swedish broadcaster SVT has made the preview program “Before Eurovision Song Contest” in different styles. Between 2004 and 2007 the shows was made in corporation with the broadcasters in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Iceland.
