Margaret Berger won the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix this year, a show which oikotimes.com followed closely this year. With “Feed You My Love” Norway bids to win this year’s Eurovision Song Contest already been one of the favourites.
WHAT WE LIKED
Samantha Fox of 2013 that’s what we get from the first impression of the Norwegian entry. The stage opening and lights look amazing and there are slight changes from what we saw in the Norwegian MGP earlier this year. Can she delive the song properly during the live performance? well you can say “yes” so far. Nothing funcy but still Loreen won with a simple performance, didn’t she?
WHAT WE DISLIKED
Some say it’s too static, some say it sounds liek Euphoria. Well it is Loreen-alike song and we all know it but still we all love it. After many fails of great Norwegian tunes, I am affraid that Norway will not do well in the Eurovision 2013 although we already see her easily qualifying to the final; and we love the song anyway.
INFORMATION ABOUT NORWAY
Norwegian singer/songwriter Margaret Berger – feeds us her heart, soul and individuality. Her aptly titled, Grand Prix winning song I Feed You My Love, coinciding with her undeniable stage presence and intoxicating vocals in Oslo February 9, is already making huge waves beyond her mother country, across Europe, U.S. and on the web worldwide. So strong the waves, that the masses and critics alike are tipping Berger and Norway the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest winners in May 2013.
