EUROVISION 2019 🇮🇱
The appearance of last years Junior Eurovision Song Contest has been moved from the Grand Final to the first Semi-Final, according to the EBU’s Media Handbook. The handbook states that Junior Eurovision will be among the interval acts for the first show on May 14.
Stage director for the Greek entry Ms Efi Gousi, spoke about the stage presentation of Katerine Duska, mentioning that they have request for the led graphics and an extra lighting installation which has not been fulfilled yet: “We have taken care of this to look good and to be clear about what is happening and why it is happening. The graphic that is displayed is something we still experience, we are not sure whether we will keep it because we have asked for a very nice lighting installation that we hope to be able to have and we will see what will work and what will not. It is a tool that we hold to see how it will be attributed to our final picture. We are still silent on it. Surely we are trying for the best.”

Before going to Tel Aviv, the singer Bilal Hassani participated in the C’est au program, French television program, where he promoted his album “Kingdom”, as well as his participation in the Eurovision 2019 Festival. The French singer interpreted an acoustic version of “Roi”, also telling the story of the song he will defend in Israel.
Following posts on social media calling for the Georgian diaspora to support Tamta at Eurovision 2019, Oto has called on the diaspora to support him instead. According to GPB, social media posts have been released calling on the diaspora to vote for Cyprus’ entrant Tamta, who also competes in the first semi-final.

DELEGATIONS WELCOME PARTY 🇮🇱
A nice footage from the delegations welcome party has been published by the Slovenian broadcaster and we see Sala and Gasper enjoying the evening with their counterparts from the other countries.
Speaking to 20Minutes.ch, Luca Hänni explained what went wrong with his rehearsal. He has a cold from the air condition and his voice was not ready. He is resting and drinking lot of tea to heal as soon as possible and he promises a nail performance on the second round of attempts. Let’s wish him the best of luck. Hie mediocre vocals in the first rehearsal cost to Swiss entrant as he saw his betting odds fall and hi bid is now ranked 5th for the trophy!

Following her first rehearsal today, Tamara Todevska has cemented North Macedonia as one of the favourites to qualify for the Grand Final. North Macedonia which has failed to qualify for the final every year since 2012, is now 7th favourite to make it through to this years final. This is the best reception that North Macedonia has received with the bookmakers in a number of years. While not moving in their positions to qualify both Malta and Azerbaijan saw improvements in their % likelihood of making the Grand Final. In contrast Albania and Lithuania who took to the stage for the first time today, saw their likelihood of qualifying fall backwards.
Mano sapnuose is the title of Jurij Velenko’s debut album which is set to be released next week. The singer revealed at a press conference today that the album will be entirely in Lithuanian and is named after its title track “Mano sapnuose” (My Dream).
“Golden Boy” Nadav Guedj will be making an appearance on stage at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. The singer who represented Israel in 2015, and took the nation to their first final since 2010 will be performing an excerpt of “Golden Boy”. Nadav is set to appear during the opening for the Grand Final of the competition, along with winners Netta and Dana International.
