SPAIN – We Kindly asked Miki and Mikel to send us a greeting video, but when we received I we assumed only one thing. That Spanish men are hunks! Well there is no doubt that everyone anticipates to see Miki dancing all over the Expo Te Aviv stage accompanied by his dancers which include the D’Nash hottie, Mikel.
Who can forget Mikel from the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, a group which no matter the results, made a huge impact to the fans as we had those super hot guys on stage.
Michael “Mikel” Hennet Sotomayor is a member of the boyband D’NASH. He is known simply as Mikel and is the romantic of the band, as well as the child of the group. Mikel studied audio-visual communications in the United Kingdom. He has experience as a model and salsa dancer.
In 2006 Michael formed a band named D’Nash with friends Esteban Piñero Camacho, Francisco Javier Álvarez Colinet and Antonio Martos Ortiz. They are the first Spanish boy band ever.
In 2008, it was announced that Antonio Martos Ortiz would be pursuing a career in theatre. The three remaining members continued until the band broke up in 2013. Who cares if the sales of their album back then didn’t go well. Thank God we have Eurovision an we are here to cheer for Mikel

But w don’t forget the main representative of Spain in the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest, a guy who has an extreme combination for the Eurofans: he is super hot and he is super cute. Two elements which will definitely gonna make us vote for Spain on May 18th and that’s a promise Miki.
Before Operación Triunfo, Miki studied guitar and piano, as well as a degree in Primary education teaching. He also was a vocalist in cover band Dalton Bang, with whom he toured Catalonia performing. In 2018, Miki auditioned for the tenth series of Operación Triunfo, being one of the 18 contestants selected for the opening gala, and making it to the semi-finals en route to finishing in sixth place.
Miki was then one of the 13 Operación Triunfo contestants allocated songs for the show’s side competition to choose Spain’s entrant in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. He was given a total of three songs: “Nadie se salva”, a duet with Natalia Lacunza, and solo songs “El equilibrio” and “La venda”.
While “El equilibrio” failed to make the first cut, “Nadie se salva” and “La venda” advanced to the Eurovision Gala, making him and Lacunza the only contestants with more than one song to perform in the national final. On 20 January 2019, Miki was selected by audience vote to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with “La venda”.
