Tamta cancelled her appearance at MADWALK 2019 which is set for April 1st due to severe back pain. Tamta and her team decided to save energy for the reparations for Eurovision 2019. Though she started intense preparations with her Swedish choreographer.
Nevena Bozovic has spoken to the Serbian press regarding her preparations for the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. The singer explained when talking to PressSerbia.com Nevena that her song “Kruna” will undergo some changes for Tel Aviv:
“There will be minor changes to the song, we only had a couple of days (to prepare it) … , we are doing an english version of the song that will be different and will last longer than 3 minutes.”
Finnish broadcaster YLE has revealed planned schedule of the Eurovision 2019 coverage. Finnish-speaking commentator of all shows will be Mikko Silvennoinen and Swedish commentary will be provided by Eva Frantz and Johan Lindroos.
Preview show “De Eurovisa” will be aired every Friday starting on 5 April at 18:30 on Yle Teema & Fem and 21:50 on YLE TV2, and hosted by Eva Frantz and Johan Lindroos. Guests of the show will be: 30-year-old actor and UMK co-host Christoffer Strandberg, 37-year-old musician Kjell Simosas (Bob Malmström), 27-year-old artist, X Factor winner Tika Sevón-Liljegren, 30-year-old composer Andrea Eklund, 27-years old linguist Maïmouna “Maï” Jagne-Soreau, and 38-years old musician and actor Markus Lytts.

The scheduled release date for the official Eurovision Song Contest 2019 CD compilation has been revealed. According to French entertainment store fnac, the compilation double CD will be released on April 26th!
Upon returning from the postcard filming in Israel, Georgian representative Oto Nemsadze has started working on the stage presentation of his performance.
Belgian representative Eliot does not mind that he is currently the underdog and not the favorite. “I can surprise everyone,” he says to Songfestival.be. “I am a perfectionist, but not when it comes to school. My dream is to develop a music career, but if that doesn’t work out, I will continue to study,” he says.
Sergey Lazarev has picked out Cyprus and the Netherlands as having strong entries competing in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019.
“I have only heard a few songs. But Cyprus has a great catchy song … And the Dutch song is really very good. Duncan is a very good singer. I hope he makes something beautiful out of it. I haven’t met your singer yet. But that will certainly happen in Tel Aviv.”
In the meantime Sergey was confirmed as guest act in Athens MADWALK 2019 on April 1st.
Michael Kealy revealed that the song wasn’t originally written for Sarah — or any woman for that matter! When the selection panel at RTÉ first heard the song they really liked it. But the demo actually featured a male singer’s vocal.
It has been revealed that five backing vocalists will join Kobi when he sings his song to a home crowd. The five singers who are all in their mid to late twenties are as follows:
