In an interview with Télépro, acclaimed songwriter Pierre Dumoulin revealed that CyBC, Cyprus’ broadcaster for Eurovision, had originally approached him to write their 2018 entry. He had previously wrote and composed Blanche “City Lights”, Belgium’s 2017 entry.

It has been revealed that Emma Wortelboer will be the lady responsible for delivering the results of the Dutch jury, at the up, and coming contest. In being named, she is the first of the 41 spokespersons to be revealed so far.

KAN have announced that the red carpet, and opening ceremony will take place in Habima Square on Sunday 12th May at 19:00 (18:00 CET) local time. Habima Square, also known as the Orchard Square is in the centre of Tel Aviv, and is used as a public space. The area often houses cultural events, and is home to the the Habima Theatre, the Culture Palace, and the Helena Rubinstein Pavilion for Contemporary Art. The construction of the area was completed in 1945, whilst renovations to the buildings, and the gardens were completed in September 2010. The area now seems the perfect venue for the ceremonies.
Sarah McTernan celebrates 25th Birthday during Red Sea Postcard shoot. Sarah McTernan, who is representing Ireland with “22,” is currently filming at Kibbutz Eilot Eilat in the Arava Desert, just two miles from the Red Sea coast and by Israel’s eastern border with Jordan. The kibbutz, which attracts tourists and is known for its innovative desert farming techniques, presented McTernan with a birthday cake celebrating her 25th birthday.
In an interview with Delfi, Tomi Rahula, Estonia’s head of delegation at the Eurovision Festival, revealed that the performance of Victor Crone’s performance in Tel Aviv will be very similar to the performance performed at Eesti Laul, with the artist “going in and out of a video, where Victor stands on a stone pedestal in the middle of a storm. ” However, the Head of Delegation promised that “although we have the same thoughts and the same scenario, we want to improve performance.”
