SPAIN – Madrid is the epicentre of Eurovision heartbeat this weekend as Eurostars gather in the Spanish capital for one of the most anticipated parties in Europe this season. Rehearsals are underway and a small pre party will take place tonight. Tomorrow is the big night. From rehearsals at the venue it was clear by the comments on the web that everyone got goosebumps by Katerine Duska who clearly gave the best sound check from all participants shadowing all negative comments so far.
Eurovision returns to Spain this weekend and for the third consecutive edition of the hand of eurovision-spain.com. Almost 40 artists, 22 from Tel Aviv 2019 and 16 guests from the history of the festival, will perform in concert at the La Riviera venue in Madrid on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 April. More than 18 hours of production that includes not only the recitals, but also its subsequent parties, the blue carpet and a host of promotional events. Below we detail a complete chronological guide to know everything about the PrePartyES 2019, whether you come from the public, or if you follow us as a spectator.
Starting tomorrow, first thing in the morning, all the information of the 2019 Pre-Party will be available at Eurovision-Spain.com. The arrivals of the delegations, the sound tests of the artists and all the related media and promotional events will be at your disposal in this house and their official social networks, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube, as well as in our official APP for Smartphones . The official hashtag will be #PrePartyES.
On Friday and Saturday, the doors of La Riviera will open at 9:00 p.m., one hour before the start of the concerts, scheduled for 10:00 p.m. Access to the room will be made by two doors, the general and the fan, corresponding to each type of entrance. A security team will check all backpacks or other belongings to be able to enter the premises.
Inside there will be a snack stand, with six varieties for all tastes, a merchandising shop, with the official products of this edition of the pre-party, and a wardrobe in which to leave your belongings. Outside the room, at 12:00 on Friday and until 20:00 on Saturday, we will visit the MyHeritage bus, one of our sponsors and the Eurovision 2019 bus, inside which a karaoke will be held. Prizes may be won in the form of tickets for the Tel Aviv festival. Another of our sponsors, Subway, will distribute gift cards to the public at the entrance of the room.
On Friday at the Welcome we premiered a new space, the Green Room, located on the back balcony of the room. This magical space will be the meeting point between some fans and some of the weekend’s guest artists. Between 9:00 p.m., opening time, and 10:00 p.m., beginning of the concert, when the Green Room is illuminated and its screens will mean that one of the interpreters or groups will come out to greet the audience during some minutes in which they will be able to interact with them, take some photos and give them the best of welcomes. After the show and while the eurovisivo party begins, there will also be another strip where you can meet one of our guests.
The traditions are to fulfill them … and also to renew them. The Eurovision-Spain Pre-Party will hold its traditional parade next Saturday, April 20 at 6:00 p.m., but with two important novelties, the first is that the carpet will be transformed from red to blue, our new corporate color, and the second is that, due to the unfavorable weather forecast, the event moves to the interior of La Riviera where we will enjoy the new route and, in addition, a DJ session of two and a half hours of eurovision music. Access to the blue carpet will be, as every year, free.
The Golden public has already received the information via e-mail for their Meet & Greet from the organization of the PrePartyES and the ticketera Viajes El Corte Inglés LGTBI. The team requests the strictest punctuality to be able to access the meeting. If you have not received the email, please check the spam or junk mail trays, or contact the distributor at email@example.com.
RTVE supports the PrePartyES, will broadcast it live with a shared signal on rtve.es and eurovision-spain.com, and becomes an Official Medium. The good news does not end here, because in addition to broadcasting the central show on Saturday, we will also broadcast Friday’s Welcome for the first time. Parallel other spaces of our public television, such as the TV news or Heart, will televise different pieces of the event throughout the weekend.
Our friends of ¡Viva La Vida !, the Telecinco magazine presented by Emma García, will once again step on our carpet, blue. The connection, in strict direct, will occur around 7:45 pm on Saturday to interview some of the Eurovision stars. Torito, the reporter who last year attended Massiel’s dress appointment, will visit us again to spread the joy and passion of Spanish fans to all Mesiaset spectators.
