LOCAL MEDIA CLAIM TWO NAMES AS HOSTS
Vasil Dimitrov (Bulgaria)
Zlatan Ibrahimović and Carola are tipped by Aftobladet as two names pursued by SVT’s Christer Bjorkman to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 and I guess one of them will be the lucky one as SVT already promised “one host” for the event.
Ibrahimović was born in Sweden to a Bosnian father who emigrated to Sweden in 1977, Šefik Ibrahimović, and a Croatian mother, Jurka Gravić, who also emigrated to Sweden, where they first met. His father was born in Bijeljina, SFR Yugoslavia, and his mother was born in Zadar village Prkos, SFR Yugoslavia. Ibrahimovic was born to a Muslim father and a Catholic mother. Ibrahimović grew up in Rosengård, a Malmö neighbourhood known for its immigrant communities, along with his three sisters and two brothers.
In the meantime Carola anyway has stated she is busy in May and that’s why she couldn’t get involved with Melodifestivalen 2013. She made also clear she could sing in the final as interval act (!). In any case Zlatan’s manager seems to be negative towards such project for his football player. In any case SVT will surprise us with the host as Mans Zemerlow and Helena Paparizou are also considered as candidates. Maybe SVT will surprise us even more with a Swedish – American host!
