Live from Budapest: Hungary Decides 2015
Fotis Konstantopoulos (Greece)
BUDAPEST, HUNGARY – Good evening Europe!!! Welcome to Budapest, Hungary. We all know that tonight is super Saturday and three more songs will be chosen, but we hope that you will stay tuned with our live blog. At first all the finalist performed a joint song, what meant that the show can start! Immediately after, jurors were presented and now its time for the first performer – Gajer Balint and That’s how it goes. He’s giving an excellent performance. His dancers are way better dressed than in semifinal. Also, judging by reactions, crowd really likes him.
Tonight’s second performance is reserved for Boggie and Wars for nothing. She has four backing vocals and a guitar player with her on stage. The song maybe has a good message, but it very questionable is this really for Eurovision? Previous experiences are saying NO.
At these moments hearts of many Hungarian girls are beating like crazy. Spoon are Keep Marching On the stage and somehow they sound good as they look. Even thier lucky charm pig is with them on stage.
Kati Wolf is up fourth tonight. She has four backing vocals with her and they all sound and look perfect. She got much much better than four years ago. Our poll said that she will be the winner. Do you agree?
Adam Szabo performs fifth. A drums player and four backing vocals are on stage with him. He looks like he has stage fright, whats very odd as this is the final show. I will just add that I don’t see him winning tonight.
They say that they want to bring something new to Hungarian musical scene. Unfortunately not much people are into indiepop. They got here only because jury gave them much points. If televote was included I beleve they would drop out in first heat.
Tonight’s last performance is reserved for Mujahid Zoltan. He came on stage covered with a cape. Undressed he is wearing a white suit with black motives. He was also playing with a torch, so last two performances literally almost lightened the stage on fire. I would like to see him as the next Hungarian representative.
Jury has voted and the four superfinalists are Adam Szabo, Boggie, Mujahid Zoltan and Spoon. And now the televoting can start. As first interval act we have band Leander Rising. Andras Kallay Saunders is back at the A Dal stage, this time as an interval act. He’s performing Juliette and of course his Eurovision entry Running.
And the winner is Boggie. Thus she will represent Hungary this May in Vienna. Stay tuned for an exclusive interview
