Lauren Harries openly bids for #Eurovision 2015
WALES, UNITED KINGDOM – Celebrity Big Brother’s favourite antiques expert Lauren Harries is dipping her toe into the world of Eurovision with Doctor Who brand manager Edward Russell. A source close to the keen song-writer said that Lauren has already written four songs and is planning to record an album in the near future. But first she wants to represent the UK in the annual kitsch fest, which next year will be in Austria.
Lauren’s pal told Wales Online: “Lauren sent them her song and she managed to get an audition, but they haven’t told her when yet. “Lauren wrote the song herself, it’s called ‘I’m All dressed up and No Place to Go,’ as with most of her songs it’s about Lauren’s life experiences.”
On working with Edward Russell, who works on sc-fi drama Doctor Who by day and records his own music in his spare time, the source said: “He’s amazing. He’s helping Lauren with a music video and putting a jazzing, more clubby backing track on the song. He’s supported her from day one”. And Lauren is in safe hands, Russell is credited for wooing popstar Kylie Minogue to star in the 2007 Christmas special!
A big fan of Robbie Williams, Lauren would love to get a club track – Should I, Would I, Could I – recorded and into the clubs as soon as possible. Lauren is also a fan of Miley Cyrus but, says the source, believes that she should “be a bit more of a lady”. A keen artist Lauren is also hosting an art exhibition at The Globe, in Cardiff in September.
