Olivier Rocher from France
If you like electro music, you’ll love the Latvian entry. Aminata is being this year’s entry and you can feel it. Justs may look young, but he will definitely give a strong performance and this entry should stand out in the line-up. I could even call “Heartbeat” a dark horse to win the whole thing if viewers go for something very modern.
Andreas Athanasiou from Greece
Aminata did it again… she cooked and took out of the oven another freaking unique song…. it’s different and electro elements add beautifully into a beautiful pop song which could be a hit all over the world’s radios right now. Fresh, modern and hip… Justs seems like a perfect fit for the song.. His voice, his looks and his energy on stage could truly make him the winner… who knows?!?!
Fred Medeiros from United Kingdom
Latvia’s hit rate has been diminished in recent years having not qualified for the final for 6 years until the completely different entry last year. Aminata wrote and performed Lone Injected which was a dark and other worldly electro pop number with an explosive chorus which gave Latvia their best result since 2005 with a sixth place finish. LTV decided to keep the winning combination and had Aminata write Heartbeat for the winner of the Supernova national selection. The very handsome 21 years old Justs won with over 40% of the televotes. He performs Heartbeat with every ounce of his being. The song, like Love Injected, has that explosive chorus with that infectious heartbeat style beat. I think Latvia has a good chance at a Top 5 finish.
