KLAPA S MORA: WE WILL BE BACK
The Croatian 2013 Eurovision entrant, Klapa sa mora, say Europe will be hearing much more of them in the coming period. The six member team, which sang a traditional Klapa song which hails from the Dalmatian coast, say they are satisfied with their performance in Malmo despite not making it into the final and thanked broadcaster HRT on its support.
The band believes they promoted Croatia in the best possible way ahead of its European Union accession. Croatia officially became the 28th member of the European Union on Monday. “We are sure that this project we worked on together with HRT made a great promotion for our and the world’s cultural heritage, as well as for Croatia on her way to European Union”, Klapa sa mora says.
The band believes they are now more experienced as a result of Eurovision. “The most memorable moment is when you get on stage, in front so many people in the Arena, also knowing that there’s like half a billion viewers around the world, waiting to hear and see your performance”, the Klapa members say.
Klapa sa mora is made up of six men, specifically for Eurovision, who hail from various different klapas. They say it is difficult to perform together since they all live in different places around the country but say Europe has not heard the last of them.
