
KDAM 2013: TERMS AND RULES ANNOUNCED
Israeli national broadcaster announced the terms and rules for the Kdam 2013 edition which is set to be on air as final show on March 7th. There will be three shows with 10 participants on February 26, 27, 28 respectively and a second chance on March 4th. Each participant in the Kdam will have to be strict to timing given by IBA.
Each artist can submit 2 songs only to the professional Jury nominated by IBA. The songs have to be submitted by January 16th. All the songs have to comply with the EBU rules and the IBA rules. Each artist can sing in 2 languages where the Hebrew language should me moe then 50% of the song. The duration of the song is limited to 3 minutes only.
All the artists and the composers should be of Israeli residence. The age of the participiants should be above 16 and only 6 persons are allowed to be on stage. A professional jury will select the 30 songs who are going to take part in the 3 TV programms and in the programms themselves the song will be choosen by the audience and the professional jury.
Only after the Eurovision final an artist can use his song for his personal use. An artist who is winning the Kdam and is going to represent Israel in the ESC itself should devote himself to the contest itself. He should follow the instructions given by IBA. The song should be translated to English and French and comply with the EBU rules.
