DUBLIN, IRELAND – In 1993 she charmed Europe and won the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2010 she gave another try in the contest with no special results. Still we all love her and her home country trusts her with the debut of Ireland in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest: Niamh Kavanagh will rule upon the winner.
Irish broadcaster TG4 announced today that Niamh Kavanagh will be among the jury members for selecting the first ever participant for Sofia’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest. She will not be alone as Brian Kennedy (Ireland 2006) will also be there to judge along with Stiofán Ó Fearail.
The pre-recorded auditions will start airing on TG4 on 11th of October for 5 weeks hosted by Eoghan McDermott. In the final episode we will know the representative of the country in Sofia.
