JESC 2015: Albania returns, Ireland debuts

EUROPE – Two happy news for the lovers of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest appeared on the web. Albanian national broadcaster announced their return to the 2015 edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and Irish regional broadcaster TG4 announced the country’s debut to the contest as well.
In Albania all applicants to be aged between 10 and 15 years will follow the RTSH auditions from March 18th at the University of Arts. Songs will only be accepted on April 12th between the hours of 08:00 CET and 16:00 CET. In Ireland, regional broadcaster TG4 alongside Adare Productions will decide the first ever Irish representative in the contest. There will be four semifinals and one final for the national selection. More information and applications here.
In the meantime Austria, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Latvia refused to re-enter the contest and Ukraine remains undecided due to the civil war situation and the reconstruction of NTU.
