JESC 2014: updates from Belarus, Croatia, Ukraine
ZAGREB, CROATIA – Josephine Ida Zec (aka Josie) and her fellow dancers Sven and Eros took part in special HRT show titled Školski Sat. They talked about the return of Croatia in the contest and presented part of the choreography for Junior Eurovision.
KYIV, UKRAINE – Sympho-Nick had an press conference and interview at Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper and presented to the readers their latest information about their preparations for Malta. “Our song has both lyrical, and more energetic elements”, – says Marta. – “As we all sing in different styles, we decided to make a mix. Usually, I sing slower music, Amaliya – faster, and Sonya – jazzy, so in our song we have united styles so that it is comfortable for all of us, so the song reflects the inner world of each of us”. “As a whole – our song is about Ukraine, in which every person is talented in his own way”, – adds Amaliya. – “It says that every person, despite his age, can work wonders”. “You need to know how to dream, to believe in your dream and then it will for sure come true”, say Sonya.
MINSK, BELARUS – In the meantime in the snowed Minsk, Nadezhda Misyakova accompanied by her mother talked to Radius FM’s Useful Dialogue show: “I wrote this song quite a long time, two years, ago, during that year I also have been very active, so a lot of poems were born and some songs have also also appeared. I have shown the song to my mom and then we approached Belarusian composer and singer Uzari to help us to make an arrangement”, says Nadezhda. “Now we’re in the time of active preparations, rehearsals, both vocal and choreography lessons, I’m getting used to my stage image, there are also numerous concerts that help me to learn to work with the public. A lot of small frames, are being formed into the one beautiful picture, so if one link falls, the performance and the song will not look so bright and colorful, so every small detail is important,” says the singer.
