Fotis Konstantopoulos (Greece)
KYIV, UKRAINE – While we are waiting for the 13th country to give their answer for Junior Eurovision Song Contest, all of us behind the scenes are thinking that the financial reasons could destroy that country’s participation bid.
It is made clear though that EBU and NTU will provide all necessary help to avoid such an argument to stop that country’s participation.
In the latest Steering Group it was made clear by the Ukrainian national broadcaster that the organizers will provide anything a country needs to avoid extra spendings.
NTU is willing to offer dancers, stage props and any other possible help as they also understand that financial crisis is the main argument for several countries to be absent this year from Junior Eurovision edition.
Along to the NTU generocity which is magnificent, the negotations with that specific country are ongoing and several people, authors and producers are already offering their support and free services to them.
It’s up to the country now to see that the benefits for their country name and confirm participation. After all kids should have access to an international event like JESC, don’t you think?
